Engineering and design for large infrastructures
MATILDI+PARTNERS is an engineering company that specialises in the design of steel bridges and viaducts.
The business was founded as Studio Matildi, an engineering associate firm founded in 1950 by Prof. Eng. Pietro Matildi (1917-2002), mathematician and engineer, pioneer in Italy in the field of metal bridge design.
He is responsible for Studio Matildi’s expertise in the sector, beginning with the first large construction works on the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway, as well as the Serra and Rago viaducts, and on major Italian state motorways, like the Cadore Bridge. MATILDI+PARTNERS is currently working on existing bridges and viaducts, from non-routine maintenance to structural monitoring.
MATILDI + PARTNERS has traditionally carried out its business in concert with both public administrations and general construction and structural steelwork companies.
This includes the complete conceptualisation of construction works, from the preliminary design to the executive stage and the final static testing, with a percentage of completed works that is close to the totality of the commissioned designs, while still drawing up solutions that are carefully tailored to the production, technical and economic requirements of customers.
Completed designs, ongoing tenders and new projects, taking part in the most influential industry events and seminars.
